The family of the younger son Kostya, sports journalist, lives in the neighbourhood with parents pensioners therefore it parents (especially mother Galina Ivanovna) constantly and incorrectly interferes with their life, than very much irritates the daughter-in-law Vera. The father Nikolay Petrovich especially differs in rudeness and indifference. In turn, Kostya differs too in forgetfulness, a carelessness and laziness therefore constantly gets into ridiculous situations, the blame he for which shifts on the family.
