The aims of the lesson:
Образовательные: совершенствовать навыки аудирования, диалогической и монологической речи, чтения и письма; закрепить лексические единицы по теме «Colours» во всех видах речевой деятельности; повторить лексические единицы по темам “Numbers”, “Countries”, “Clothes”, “Adjectives”; закрепить понятие «степени сравнения прилагательных».
Развивающие: развивать навыки разговорной речи, навыки и умение аудирования, развивать внимание, память, догадку учеников.
Воспитательные: воспитывать коммуникативную, развитую, общительную личность, вежливое отношение друг к другу.
Visual aids: cards, pictures, presentation, typescripts with the songs “What is it?”, “Clap your hands”, “What colour…?”, typescript with the conversation between a zebra and a giraffe.

Tell me, please, what theme we studied last lesson. — Colours. — Yes, you are right. Today we’re going to study colours. Now your task is to name the colours of the stars.

At home you were to learn the poems about your favourite colours by heart. Now recite the poems, please.
1) I hope everybody likes ice-cream. Now let’s compose our own ice-cream. You see that every scoop of ice cream has a number. You should come up to the blackboard, take one scoop, name its number and colour. Don’t forget that we use the verb “is” to make up English sentence.
2) Now, please, answer my question: Where are you from? — I’m from Kazakhstan. Last lessons we studied the names of some countries. Now you’ll see the flags of the countries. Your task is to pronounce the name of the country correctly and to name the colours of its flag.
3) Now let’s revise the names of some clothes. Your task is to name the item of clothes and its colour. Don’t forget that we use “is” after singular nouns and “are” after plurals.
I think you are tired. Let’s have a rest. Let’s sing a song and do the tasks.
