Тема урока: Спорт в нашей жизни.

Цель:

Совершенствовать умения и навыки устной речи

Тип урока: комбинированный

Основные задачи:

Обучающие:

— практика речевой деятельности (монологической и диалогической);

— активизация лексики по теме;

— формирование и развитие коммуникативных умений;

— расширение словарного запаса.

Развивающие:

— развитие мышления, умения дать оценку, высказать своё мнение на английском языке;

— интеллектуальное развитие;

— развитие фантазии, воображения;

— развивать умения и навыки чтения про себя с полным пониманием прочитанного.

Социо-культурные:

— развитие образного мышления;

— расширение кругозора.

Воспитательные:

— формирование уважения и интереса к изучению английского языка;

— воспитание культуры общения;

— формирование умения работать в парах, помогать друг другу.

Ход урока:

1. Организационный момент.

T.: Good morning.

I am glad to see you.

P.: Good afternoon.

T.: Sit down, please. Let’s begin our lesson. What date is it today?

Р.: It is the 19 th of March.

T.: What day of the week is it today?

Р.: It is Tuesday.

T.: OK.

Today we will speak about different kinds of sport. But before we do that, let’s make some exercises.

2. Фонетическая зарядка.

T.: At first, we must repeat some sounds to speak about kinds of sport.

[r] cricket, run, ground, rugby

[w] wood, white, swimming, weight, weightlifting

4. Основная часть урока.

You were supposed to learn the words by heart. ( один ученик выходит к доске, другие диктуют слова на русском языке, ученик записывает на английском)

Who is a judoist?

Who is a swimmer?

Who is a runner?

Who is a windsurfer?

All right, now let’s read the text about the Paralympics and try to translate it. (читаем, переводим с.247).

Answer the questions.

— When were they first held?

— Where were they first held?

— How many Paralympics have there been since then?

— How many sports do athletes take part in?

— Name them.

Grammar review. Past Continuous.

Давайте вспомним, как образуется Past Continuous. Какое действие выражает это время?

Here you are the sentences. You have to open the brackets, put the verbs into Past Continuous, then make the negative form and five types o questions.

— I (to walk) with my friends from 6 till 8 yesterday.

There are many kinds of sport. And sometimes it is difficult to choose the right one. What kind of sport is best for you? (ученики высказываются о своем любимом виде спорта)
